Dear Patients and Friends,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to share with you that I’m planning to retire at the end of this year. While I am eager to spend more time with my wonderful wife, Jody, and my children and grandchildren, it is hard to leave something that has literally been part of my family for decades. But I close this chapter so proud that my family’s small business has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of patients since my father opened our doors in 1950.
Over the next couple of months, I will work part-time, and I hope I’ll be able to see many of you in my remaining time at Malbar Vision.
I leave the practice knowing that there is a team of doctors and staff skilled and capable to fulfill your eye health needs. It is my honor to welcome our newest member to the Tower Plaza practice, Dr. Trevor Schramm.
Dr. Schramm completed his undergraduate schooling at the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. I have full confidence in his abilities and passionate concern for his patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Schramm enjoys watching many different sporting events while also playing basketball, biking, and golfing. He also enjoys the one-on-one relationships with patients and helping them see the world more clearly. I am extremely excited that Dr. Schramm has joined our team, and I cannot wait for you to meet him.
I am grateful to you for entrusting me with the health of your eyes over the years, and I hope to see you again soon for your ongoing eyecare needs.
Dr. Neal Malashock
